Fred Gough students attend site for final WIME session

 In Birch Lime, Singleton Birch

Today we hosted young women from Fred Gough School as part of our ‘Raising Aspirations’ partnership with WiME (Women into Manufacturing and Engineering).  Staff from SBL, SSE and PRAX joined the students for the final session which was closed out by Christel Croft (Sustainability Director for Singleton Birch) followed by the awarding of certificates by Christel and Jo Roche (FGS).   The aim of the day was to inspire young women from the local community to look at our industry and careers as achievable by meeting the women already in the sector.

We’re passionate about increasing diversity in the sector and we hope to have inspired all the fantastic young women who came today.  Well done to all involved!
