Singleton Birch Enhances Production Capacity with Significant Investment in Hydrated Lime Facility

Singleton Birch, a leading lime solutions provider based in the United Kingdom and a proud subsidiary of MLC since 2022, is pleased to announce a substantial investment in its hydrated lime production capabilities at its Melton Ross facility.

This strategic initiative underscores MLC and Singleton Birch's commitment to being at the forefront of the lime industry, focusing on capacity expansion, operational reliability and quality enhancement. The expansion is expected to be commissioned in early 2025.

This investment aligns with Singleton Birch’s and MLC's shared goal of operational excellence, ensuring a more agile supply chain and heightened customer satisfaction. By increasing  capacity, flexibility and reliability for lime production, Singleton Birch aims to meet the rising demand in both established and emerging markets, such as energy-from-waste, chemical processing and battery minerals.
