Martin Haworth has been invited to present a paper on renewable energy in the lime industry at the International Lime Conference in Washington. The conference will take place on 12th and 13th October 2016 and will be attended by 120 senior executives from lime businesses operating in 24 different countries.
The paper will outline the experience of Birch Energy in designing, constructing and operating a 2MW Anaerobic Digester on the Singleton Birch limeworks, and highlight the potential of this renewable technology to other lime companies around the world.
